We are the first national organization to recruit physician volunteers through alumni and professional organizations and match their expertise to the needs of community clinics.
Physician volunteers—especially the semi-and newly-retired—are a rich source of medical wisdom, but current recruitment efforts are largely local and unsystematic. We reduce traditional barriers to volunteering, both administrative and geographic, by facilitating onboarding and utilizing telemedicine.

WHY IT MATTERS

1 PHYSICIAN SHORTAGES

The U.S. is facing a SHORTAGE OF UP TO 95,000 PHYSICIANS despite team-based care.

2 CLINICS SUFFERING

As the main caregivers for uninsured and underinsured individuals, overburdened rural and inner-city COMMUNITY CLINICS SUFFER MOST from these shortages.

3 AVOIDABLE COSTS

Community clinic patients often present with poorly treated chronic illnesses, contributing to AVOIDABLE MEDICAL COMPLICATIONS AND COSTS.
