Chase Behringer is the founder of Silicon Valley Social Value, a boutique consulting firm serving mission-driven organizations and philanthropists in their pursuit of social impact. Chase’s work is powered by heavy analytics and Silicon Valley creativity. Recent clients include the Stupski Foundation, Pathfinder International, and Johnson & Johnson.
Before founding Silicon Valley Social Value, Chase was a social entrepreneur and head of strategy at Samahope (incubated by Samasource), an award-winning social enterprise acquired by Johnson & Johnson. Samahope connected individual donors to doctors providing high-impact, low-cost surgical care to the poor in 11 countries. The organization’s work has been featured in CNN, TechCrunch, and VentureBeat.
Previously, Chase was on the management team at The Bridgespan Group (incubated by Bain & Company), the leading consultancy to global foundations and nonprofit organizations. While at Bridgespan, she served dozens of high-profile clients including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women, and Camfed International. She has also worked as a management consultant in the for-profit sector serving venture capital and insurance clients.
Chase is particularly passionate about the future of philanthropy, including topics such as creative disruption, hybrid models, technology, and mergers. She has led multiple strategy workshops, facilitating working sessions and presenting to audiences of up to 100+ non-profit executives and staff. In her spare time, you can find Chase playing soccer with her children and training her German Shepherd dog. She holds a BA in English from Columbia University and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
